| As a beginner I was sold a template with multiple faulty errors. I got the excited feeling purchasing my first template and when they completely screwed up and were completely rude and slow with there comments I felt like reaching across the screen and kicking there ass. I would never recommend them to anyone. For my Zen Cart and host am using www.siteground.com and template is templatemonster.com 5 minute response time as for the monster it would be about 30 hours |

| Templatetuning.com is a possible fraud. I purchased a design template from them and they asked me to send over a copy of my cc information so they could verify. They said they had charged my card but i wasnt able to get my design until i sent them my card by mail or fax. They also have a number listed that has no buisness message of any sort. It was just a voicemail with no name. Please do not use....beware! |

Good graphics, bad markup |

I have bought two templates from template monster in my time as a web developer, both been of very high graphic quality. What attracts people to template monster is there graphics, reasonable pricing and quite large selection, all things you can see from the images they provide before you buy, however it is after you buy that their major flaw is found - markup. On both occasions that I have bought templates from them I have had to employ photoshop/css programmers to make the templates able to accept text and have a text-based menu.
If you really like a template, buy it, but be prepared for a long time of editing... |

| Template Monster has good templates and a good selection. The graphic quality is great, but their markup leaves alot to be desired. It looks mostly machine generated with poor standards, almost no CSS, and gratuitous empty table cells, spacers, etc. |

I have purchased 3 templates from TM and I love their graphics (good to see I'm not alone in that opinion), but I also concur with others in that their markup is pretty bad.
However, if you just slice it up yourself in Photoshop and drop it into Dreamweaver, you've just saved countless hours and dollars in design work. Try to find a graphic designer who will knock out something that pretty for $60 USD! |

The best templates |

I am a regular customer of Template Monster produts.
We are not talking about graphics... we are talking about Internet Marketing and this templates at TemplateMonster.COM are the best in the world. If you buy Templates from TM, please read their Tutorials. Concerning inserting and adding text or images you can edit them with Photoshop as I do. Then save as HTML and from your Webdesign program ( be smart and choose a really good one ) import the indexes created by Photoshop and you got your page, and give them then name you want... But...and not less important you can take a look at CSS Templates now available. I must say that nothing is perfect...but i 've seen too much around and TemplateMonster makes a difference on the market.Thank you TM |

I've bought two templates from templatemonster.com, and only had one problem - the markup. The designs are great, but the markup is horrible.
I only buy templates from Template Monster that are for sites that don't need a simple, fast loading site. That's another thing, be prepared for slow loading sites if you buy and don't edit templates from Template Monster.
All in all though, they're a neat company, who will suit a large selection of people. |

| I really liked the templates offered at template monster but they refer you to templatetuning.com for tech. support and they have to be the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I was initially happy with template monster, but now just for the mere fact that they referred me to templatetuning.com I will never do business with them again......they suck and template tuning sucks way more!!!! |

Template Monster sucker |

I must be the lates sucker for template monster, they have very good graphics, but man oh man. I dont know where to start
1. The links on the template dont work... php errors right left and center
2. Very rude online support, ( I guess too much support work)
3. Very slow support ticket, you can wait for 48 hours before you get a reply to your ticket
4. I am still waiting to complete installing a simple oscommerce template for the 3rd day....
If you want a beautiful template, then TM is the place to be, but a functional website is what you need.. be extreemly careful. |

Nice templates with bad markup |

Not really a fan of template monster. They have some quality designers, but their markup is bad. So I'd recommend it only if your whole target market is on broadband. Which is not the case most often.
Again, hats of to their designers! |

I've read some bad reviews about template monster on the internet, one being 'she' payed for the template and never got it, because of reasons like not being able to scan in her drivers license
that cheeses me off..
The graphics of template monster web templates is top notch, but a lot of people after buying web templates from them aren't able to edit the flash files
then they just dont bother using the template
Not good..
The graphics are great ( which is what i look at ) but I dont like template monster and wouldn't recommend buying from them. |

Ok, love the design, graphics, price, etc.
But the markup is horrible, and a nightmare!
It is like they computer slice these things apart, and forget trying to make it easily, fast loading.
There is no simple way to add CSS, and a clean code.
If they cleaned up the markup, we would all be happy. |

I'm working on a template from TM right now. Tech support has been terrific to me and very responsive. I'm a photoshop wiz, but I don't know flash at all and I've been able to muddle through with their expremely helpful and easy to understand online support instructions. Everytime I contact their online support the get right on my question.
My inn is going to have the slickest site of all New Orleans accommodations! Thanks TM. |

I agree with all the previous reviews. Template Monster has one of the best looking templates on the net. However, their partner or maybe same company at templatetuning.com has the worst customer service I have come across. Down right RUDE, and very poor attitude toward customers! Just because they are popular is making them too stuck up I guess.

Yeah, they have a great selection of very professional templates, but they will cost you mega bucks in the long run.
Don't use Template Monster! If you do, Getty Images (or one of the other stock image companies) will demand that you back-pay license fees for using their images. Template Monster does not have the rights to "resale" these images. I know because Getty tried demand many thousands of dollars from me because of a couple of images that were included with a template that Template Monster STILL sells on it's website! The lawyers that I spoke to at Getty indicated that this was a huge problem with Template Monster. So, beware!! |
